Thank you for the story of the bumblebee Satya. This is something that I grappled with in the aid sector and one of the reasons I started my substack. When I worked on things like climate change or human rights. No matter how worthy something sounds - life is complicated and nothing is purely a good action.
Ack, it's so hard in those areas - it's a wonder anyone manages to carry on once they realise the intractability of it all. So glad you are, and so glad that you can see the complication - I don't think everyone does and, although I understand it, I don't think that it serves us. Thanks for being here!
A perfect way to start my way. Satya so often you spontaneously focus on an action or behavior that I struggle with, and help me to accept my frailties. This helps me accept that however awkward or flawed my attempts at good action might be, the intention was heartfelt. Thank you. 🙏🪷
