Read on for an invitation to our online practice tomorrow morning (23rd Dec), a video recording of a very good talk Satya and I did at the Bodhi retreat recently, and the VERY EXCITING news that the revised and updated second edition of Just As You Are is now available!
Saturday Online practice
Tomorrow morning we’ll be hosting our second online only practice. We usually host a hybrid practice where people join in person and online, but we can see the virtue in having a space that’s just for online practice.
(In person practice will take place as usual.)
If you join me on Zoom tomorrow you’ll be able to see and hear me more clearly and I’ll be paying attention to my computer screen so I can see and hear you clearly.
I’ll begin practice by reading a sharing written by someone from in our community, we’ll move into silent meditation, there will be a period of chanting, we’ll recite a short text together, I’ll give a short dharma talk and we’ll finish with a brief check-in space if people want to stay and say hello.

Past and Future of Bright Earth
At the Bodhi retreat Satya and I gave a talk about the past and future of Bright Earth Temple. We talk about lineage, our philosophy of learning and our approach to the spiritual life.
Just As You Are
We’re so pleased that this new edition of our book is now in the world :) I’ll share more about this in a future newsletter but it’s so good to be able to share this second edition with you.
